Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Plant Director to lead operations at our state-of-the-art food manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in aseptic processing and a proven track record in implementing and sustaining Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) systems. This leadership role is critical to ensuring operational excellence, driving efficiency, and maintaining the highest standards of product quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership : Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production, quality, maintenance, and logistics. Develop and execute strategies to meet production goals while ensuring cost efficiency and compliance.
Aseptic Processing Expertise : Ensure all aseptic processes meet industry standards and regulatory requirements. Drive continuous improvement in aseptic production to maintain product integrity and safety.
TPM Implementation : Lead the development and execution of TPM programs to maximize equipment reliability, efficiency, and safety. Foster a culture of proactive maintenance and continuous improvement.
Operational Excellence : Monitor and optimize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational success. Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
Team Leadership : Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of managers and supervisors. Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and collaboration.
Regulatory Compliance : Ensure the facility complies with all applicable food safety and quality regulations (e.g., FDA, USDA). Oversee audits and certifications, ensuring the plant meets or exceeds industry standards.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Science, Operations Management, or a related field (Master's preferred). Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in food manufacturing, with at least 5 years in aseptic processing. Demonstrated expertise in implementing and managing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) programs. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, quality systems, and industry certifications (e.g., HACCP, SQF). Proven ability to drive operational excellence through Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement practices. Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
