Job Description Job Title: Medical Director Job Specialty: Neonatology Job Duration: Permanent, full-time position Shift: Varied full-time position with one week on, one week off schedule Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Experienced neonatologist with leadership capabilities License: Georgia license (or willing to obtain) Certifications: Board Certified in Pediatrics; Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Must-Have: Fellowship-trained in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine (to be completed prior to start); clean malpractice and license history is highly preferred

Job Description: - Lead the practice and collaborate closely with hospital administration and regional management. - Provide coverage for a growing Level-III, 10-bed NICU practice with 1,000 annual births. - Offer growth and mentorship to other physicians; undertake leadership roles within the hospital and community. - Engage in rounding with call from home. - Collaborate with full-time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) coverage. - Open to applicants requiring visa sponsorship (J1 and H1B visa candidates are eligible to apply). - Relocation may be required, as residency within the immediate local area is necessary.
