Location: Tampa - Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)

About The Role
We’re looking for a strategic, people-first HR leader to join our team in Tampa as People Experience Director. In this high-impact role, you’ll be a key architect of organizational effectiveness, partnering closely with the EVP, People and business leaders to shape culture, elevate the employee experience, and enable scalable growth.
You will lead core pillars of the People function—including organizational design, talent development, employee engagement, and workforce planning while also serving as a trusted business partner to leaders across functions. This is a unique opportunity for a collaborative, data-informed leader who thrives in dynamic, high-growth environments and brings a deep passion for building inclusive, high-performing organizations.
What You’ll Do
Business Partnership & Strategic People Support
Serve as a strategic business partner to cross-functional leaders, aligning people strategies with operational goals.
Advise and coach leaders on team structure, talent planning, change leadership, and performance optimization.
Ensure HR practices are tailored to the needs of the business while reinforcing consistency, fairness, and compliance.
Organizational Design & Workforce Planning
Lead strategic workforce planning, team structure design, and succession strategies to support long-term scale.
Shape operating models that enable agility, clarity, and accountability across the business.
Employee Engagement & Retention
Use data (surveys, stay interviews, trends) to design programs that strengthen engagement, connection, and belonging.
Collaborate with leaders to drive culture and retention strategies that support employee growth and morale.
Talent Development & Succession Planning
Build and lead initiatives that develop talent pipelines, accelerate high-potential employees, and drive career growth.
Partner with stakeholders to define development paths, build learning programs, and support internal mobility.
M&A & Change Management
Support M&A initiatives through due diligence, organizational planning, and post-close integration.
Lead people-centric change management strategies to navigate transitions with transparency and care.
Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB)
Champion inclusive people practices throughout the employee lifecycle.
Partner with leaders to embed DEIB into hiring, learning, and culture; grow the impact of Employee Support Groups (ESGs).
Employee Relations & Internal Communications
Provide guidance on employee relations with a focus on consistency, fairness, and legal compliance.
Help drive internal communications that reinforce clarity, transparency, and organizational alignment.
What You’ll Bring
7+ years of progressive HR experience, including strategic HR business partnership, talent development, and organizational design.
Demonstrated ability to support and influence cross-functional leaders in a high-growth, evolving environment.
Proven experience leading HR through M&A, integration, or similar business transformation initiatives.
Deep understanding of talent development frameworks, succession planning, and employee growth strategy.
A hands-on leader who combines strategic thinking with operational execution.
Strong executive presence, excellent communication skills, and a bias toward action and collaboration.
Proficiency in company-wide internal and external communications
Strong proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and visualization using Excel and Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides)
Skilled in building and interpreting reports, managing datasets, and leveraging Excel and Google Sheets for operational insights
Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas) and Google Sheets expertise with a focus on data-driven decision making
Global or multi-region experience preferred (U.S. and India experience a plus).
Passion for inclusive leadership and values-driven people practices.
The anticipated salary range for this role is $155,000 - $175,000 + bonus + stock options + benefits. Actual compensation may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
