Full Job DescriptionLocal Infusion is seeking a Part Time Medical Director to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a leading provider of infusion services, Local Infusion aims to offer quality care patients with chronic autoimmune diseases on specialty medications. The Part Time Medical Director will perform a variety of duties, including chart auditing, policy development and approval, and developing treatment plans in conjunction with local referring providers. This a remote position, and you can work on your schedule.ResponsibilitiesChart auditing to ensure compliance with company policiesDevelopment of policies and procedures when appropriateDeveloping treatment plans in conjunction with local referring providers.Participate in ongoing training and professional development to ensure up-to-date knowledge of infusion drugs.Adhere to ethical and legal standards of healthcare delivery.RequirementsActive Ohio MD license; and DEA LicenseSpecialty in Gastroenterology, Rheumatology, or Neurology strongly preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with other healthcare professionals and educate patients and their families.Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development.Commitment to ethical and legal healthcare delivery.Benefits$350.00 per hour average; ~4-6 hours per monthFlexibility and autonomy - a healthy work-life balanceReprieve from being confined to an office all dayMalpractice insurance provided
