The O.R. Regional Business Director is responsible for managing the Company’s sales employees and sales activities in the assigned territory according to the strategy set by the Company. The O.R. Regional Business Director’s contact and administrator at the Company will be the Company’s Executive Area Director or Vice President.
Essential Functions
Supervise, manage a team of 7-12 sales personnel located in the Region to ensure we maximize the sales opportunity
Manage, weekly/monthly forecast, and maintain responsibility for the operating budget, profits/losses, revenue, expenses, and growth in the assigned Region
Sell and manage revenues consistent with targets given by Company
Forge relationships with Key Opinion Leaders to evangelize Kerecis products
In coordination with the Chief Sales Officer, set sales targets for individual RSSs and the RSS team located in the Region as a whole
Monitor the sales team's performance and motivating them to reach targets
Compile and analyze sales figures in the Region, report to the CSO
Develop business with major customer accounts/ Region Top 10yourself
Keep up to date with products and competitors
Solve customer relation issues
Report RSS team status to supervisor as required
Provide feedback regarding employee performance and assist in RSS sales performance reviews as requested
Prepare sales forecasts and reports
Manage Agent / 1099 activity in the Area, including negotiating contracts and assigning appropriate accounts / region reporting
Prepare quotes, proposals, and agent contracts with Legal Department
Maintain all information in Kerecis' CRM system, and enforce usage of CRM by RSSs
Produce revenue monthly and rolling 3 monthly forecasts each week based on CRM data
Support and work with Company to develop and constantly refine Kerecis' go to market strategy as may from time to time be provided to you by the Company
Assist with identifying and qualifying potential candidates for future positions in Kerecis
Perform all duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with the terms of the Company’s Employee Handbook

Requirements A high-energy, creative, flexible, results-oriented individual
Can work in an intense, fast paced, multinational work environment
Self-motivated and can work on own initiative with limited supervision
A strong strategic and analytical approach and thorough understanding of sales, sales planning, and sales execution
Knowledge of sales process and building new relationships in large accounts
Understanding of trends in the biotechnology and bio-manufacturing market
Ability to travel frequently
A team player with leadership skills
A knack for problem-solving
Excellent organizational skills
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree, preferably in the Business, Science, or Medical field
5+ years in medical sales, preferably in operating rooms
3-5 years of medical device/surgical management experience
Proven experience and high achievement in sales
Evidence of successfully developing new business in hospitals, experience calling on surgeons, and closing large scale contracts with hospitals, specifically for operating rooms
Travel as necessary up 70%
