Job specification

Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Telemetry nursing team, fostering a culture of clinical excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. Oversee all patient care activities in the Telemetry unit, ensuring delivery of safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care. Direct daily unit operations, including staffing, scheduling, resource allocation, equipment oversight, and budget management. Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and quality initiatives to maintain compliance with hospital, state, and federal regulations. Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care and optimize workflow efficiency. Candidate requirements BSN required; MSN, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred. Active RN license in Texas, or eligibility to obtain. 5-7 years of progressive nursing experience, with 3+ years in leadership or supervisory roles (Telemetry, Progressive Care, or Critical Care preferred). BLS and ACLS required; PCCN or CCRN preferred. Proven ability to manage clinical operations, lead teams, and drive quality improvements.
