Relocation assistance available Position Overview As a Nursing Director in our Long Term Care facility, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional standards of resident care. Your responsibilities will include: Administering the nursing program to enhance resident care quality. Optimizing geriatric care processes to improve service efficiency and quality. Overall management of quality care provided by nursing personnel. Advising medical staff and administrators on nursing service strategies. Monitoring compliance with organizational and governmental nursing standards. Staff scheduling and conducting performance reviews. Providing hands-on nursing care as needed. Assisting in marketing activities and community events. You will also oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring resident care quality, environmental safety, and regulatory compliance. This includes effective delegation and coordination of clinical and managerial activities to meet departmental objectives. Qualifications We prefer candidates with: A Bachelor's degree in nursing (not mandatory). A graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program. Five years of nursing experience, with experience in Housing with Services, HUD, or assisted living being advantageous. A current, unencumbered RN license and knowledge of nursing practice and administrative techniques.
