About the Opportunity: We’re seeking an accomplished Deputy Executive Director / Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to lead the clinical and operational direction of a Certified Home Health Agency (CHHA) serving diverse communities across New York. This is your opportunity to play a key role in shaping innovative care models, driving excellence in patient outcomes, and leading a highly skilled team in a mission-driven environment.
What You’ll Do: Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all nursing and clinical operations within the CHHA. Ensure regulatory compliance with all state, federal, and local healthcare laws and standards. Drive policy development, program innovation, and continuous quality improvement initiatives. Collaborate with executive and clinical teams to optimize patient outcomes and operational efficiency. Oversee staffing, budgeting, and performance management to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. Cultivate a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability across all levels of the organization.
What We’re Looking For: Licensure: Current NYS Professional Nurse or Nurse Practitioner license (pending license considered). Education: Master’s degree in Nursing, Hospital/Healthcare Administration, Administrative Medicine, or Public Health. Experience: At least 6 years of progressive leadership in CHHA, hospital, or community-based healthcare settings. Technical Skills: Proficiency with EPIC Hyperspace, EPIC Remote Client, and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge Areas: CHHA administration principles Federal, state, and local healthcare regulations (CMS, NYSDOH, DOHMH) JCAHO standards for home health providers Business and human resource management
