The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) is seeking applicants for the position of Director of Video Operations and Multimedia. This is a full-time, 12-month position with individual benefits. A bachelor’s degree is required. A master’s degree is preferred. Demonstrated experience working in a collegiate athletic department or conference office is also preferred. The successful candidate will serve as the primary contact and in-house producer for all of the GLIAC’s championship streams. Job duties will also require the successful candidate to administer and monitor video production and creative services for the conference office. Skill set should include being able to conceptualize, produce, shoot and edit video content. This person will be responsible for all equipment inventory associated with streaming. Expertise with software, such as BlueFrame, Adobe Suite, Canva and OBS Studio, is highly recommended. This role also serves as the main contact with the conference’s media rights partner, ensuring scheduling is accurate and established broadcast standards are upheld in addition to working with conference members to troubleshoot any issues. The candidate will assist the assistant commissioner for communications with website updates, player of the week recognition, social media posts and awards. Additional duties will include sport and championship supervision, creating schedules for assigned sports and organization of and service on designated conference committees. The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference is a virtual office, with an expectation to live in the footprint of the league.
