This position would require relocation to Houston!
Are you a strategic sales leader with a passion for the food production, distribution, and import/export industry? Do you have a proven track record of driving sales growth, managing high-performing teams, and expanding market reach? We’re looking for a National Director of Sales to lead our sales strategy and contribute to the continued success and growth of our dynamic food production, distribution, and import/export business.
As the National Director of Sales , you will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s national sales strategy, managing a high-performing sales team, establishing strong relationships with key partners, and driving revenue growth across various markets.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a national sales strategy that aligns with company goals for growth in food production, distribution, and import/export markets.
Lead, mentor, and manage a national sales team, providing guidance and support to ensure sales objectives are met.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and international partners in the food production, distribution, and import/export sectors.
Identify new business opportunities and markets for expansion, including international markets and trade relationships.
Collaborate with product development, logistics, and marketing teams to ensure alignment between sales strategies and product offerings.
Monitor sales performance, industry trends, and market conditions to adjust strategies and drive growth.
Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings, ensuring brand visibility and market presence.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in sales leadership, preferably in the food production, food distribution, or import/export sectors.
Proven success in driving sales growth, expanding into new markets, and developing strategic sales initiatives.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a national sales team.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with experience in dealing with international clients and distributors.
Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and experience in data-driven decision-making.
Willingness to travel nationally for client meetings, trade shows…whatever is necessary.
The ideal candidate will possess advanced Spanish language skills
