The Group Fitness Program Manager is a dynamic leader responsible for developing and growing an engaging Group Fitness program across multiple locations. This role involves creating and executing a vision for class formats, schedules, and instructor teams to boost attendance, participation, and retention. The manager will analyze data, collaborate with various departments, and oversee relationships with vendors to ensure program success. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as proficiency in data analysis, training development, and group fitness software. This position also requires a passion for leading teams and driving growth in a fast-paced environment. Core Job Duties Develop the vision for an exciting Group Fitness program and execute that vision through your team and partnering with all levels of field management and HQ Collect and analyze data to make informed decisions on formats, schedules, and instructors to drive attendance, participation, and member retention Oversee all aspects of Group Fitness within locations where it is offered including all class offerings, formats, schedules, and instructors Serve as the main point of contact for Group Fitness vendors to maximize relationships and growth Collaborate with a team of Group Exercise Directors that oversee multiple locations and regions Develop, organize, and lead in-house training on various Group Fitness formats Partner with L&D to develop onboarding education for Group FitnessIs Collaborate with marketing as SME on Group Fitness to ensure a clear value proposition of Group Fitness to prospects and members Optimize recruiting partnerships and strategies to bring in top-level talent instructors Communicate and collaborate with senior, regional, and club management on strategies and rollouts of Group Fitness classes Perform other job-related duties as assigned by your supervisor Position Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age Proven experience developing and growing a Group Fitness program Passion and ability to lead and grow teams Practical and technical knowledge of group exercise programming Demonstrated initiative as an independent thinker with advanced problem-solving skills Bias for action and ability to work with autonomy Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with different departments and levels of leadership Ability to analyze numerical data and analytics Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong public speaking and presentation skills Demonstrated ability to prioritize and sequence tasks and processes Highly proficient computer skills including Google apps, Datatrak, and Group Fitness software Physical Demands The physical demands described here represent those that must be met by a team member to perform the essential functions of this role successfully.
