The Music Director will play an intricate role in overseeing the worship ministry to ensure a consistent worship experience. This includes recruiting, training, and developing other worship leaders, backup team members, and musicians. This person will work closely with the lead pastors to create an overall engaging worship experience each week, and help to develop a sound that’s in alignment with the vision and spirit of the house. Primary Responsibilities: Be the primary musician and worship leader for weekend services and occasional events. Recruit, train, and develop musicians and worship teams. Conduct weekly rehearsals. Organize song lists and service schedules. Coach and mentor new members. Qualifications: A growing relationship with Christ. A desire to grow deeper in God’s Word. A love for God that is evident in your walk. An excitement and desire to build the church and advance the Kingdom of God. A humble and compassionate heart. A spirit of excellence and organization. Proficient musical skills. A skilled keyboard or guitar player is preferred. A contemporary worship style. Familiar with CCM (Bethel, Elevation, Maverick City, and others). A basic knowledge of media such as pro-presenter. Must be creative, innovative, and a forward-thinker.
