The MOD MOVEMENT Executive Director will report to the Company’s CEO. The Executive Director will devote 75% of their leadership to planning, developing, and implementing fundraising programs to meet the organization’s short- and long-term needs. They will allocate 25% of their leadership to oversee the overall operations, create and implement key projects, programs, and infrastructure.
Duties / Responsibilities :
Work with the Chief Leadership of MOD Movement to determine the mission, purpose, and priorities of the organization.
Set annual monetary goals and budgets in consultation with the Chief Leadership, aligned with short- and long-term objectives.
Establish essential infrastructure and program development strategies to maximize financial impact.
Establish fundraising objectives, setting goals for one year, five years, and beyond.
Maintain a list of potential donors including corporations, foundations, and individuals.
Create relevant fundraising marketing events and materials for distribution to previous donors and the public.
Research potential funding sources and apply for grants and public funding opportunities.
Support the Controller with the fundraising process and keep records of receipts and disbursements.
Plan fundraising events that effectively communicate the organization’s purposes.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills / Abilities :
Extensive knowledge of fundraising strategies and principles.
Excellent presentation skills, both in person and over ZOOM.

Knowledge of tax planning principles that favor charitable giving.

Education and Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
Five years of experience in nonprofit fundraising is highly preferred.
Physical Requirements :
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds; willingness to travel approximately 10% of the year.
