Qualifications
Education: MD or DO with completed Addiction Medicine Fellowship
Licensure: Active New York State Medical License
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in addiction medicine; leadership experience preferred
Requirements: Active Medicaid provider number; Active DEA certification
Language: Spanish proficiency preferred
Technical Skills: Knowledge of addiction treatment modalities, program development
Soft Skills: Leadership, cultural competence, empathy, strong communication, collaborative approach
Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical leadership and oversight for the addiction medicine program
Develop and implement treatment protocols and quality standards
Supervise clinical staff and ensure compliance with regulations
Provide direct patient care, including medication-assisted treatment
Maintain active Medicaid provider status and DEA certification
Collaborate with community partners and referral sources
Ensure culturally competent care for a diverse patient population
