Job Title: Medical Director (Med Spa) – Part-Time Location: Jacksonville, FL (Primarily Remote) Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and collaborative Medical Director to oversee clinical operations for a growing Med Aesthetic practice in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a very part-time / contractor role ideal for a semi-retired or retired Dermatologist or Plastic Surgeon looking to stay engaged in the industry in a flexible, low-commitment capacity. Key Responsibilities: Provide medical oversight and ensure compliance with all state and regulatory guidelines Conduct virtual chart reviews and audits (approximately 5 hours per month) Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and clinical staff to support best practices and patient safety Be available on-call for consultation in the event of an adverse incident or clinical concern Maintain appropriate supervision protocols per Florida regulations Conduct in-person clinic visits 2–3 times per year Qualifications: MD or DO with active and unrestricted Florida medical license Board-certified or board-eligible in Dermatology or Plastic Surgery preferred Prior experience in aesthetics, med spa, or cosmetic procedures strongly preferred Strong understanding of compliance, safety standards, and scope of practice in Florida Excellent communication and collaborative skills Ideal Candidate: Retired or semi-retired physician seeking a flexible, advisory-style role Passion for aesthetics and mentoring clinical providers Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to patient safety and quality care Time Commitment: Approximately 5 hours per month (remote) 2–3 in-person visits annually
