IM or FM trained with experience; Excellent regional medical director support; Must have minimum 4-5 years HM experience and ideally 1-2 years of leadership experience

Schedule and Shift Details

Flexible scheduling options Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts as needed

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the clinical operations of the medical practice to ensure the highest standards of patient care. Develop and implement medical policies and procedures in compliance with state regulations and industry's best practices. Provide direct medical care to patients, including assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-ups. Coordinate and supervise the work of the medical team, including physicians, nurses, and support staff. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care in electronic medical records. Monitor and analyze clinical performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and care effectiveness. Collaborate with other departments to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care. Represent medical practice at community events and professional meetings. Mentor and support ongoing education and professional development for medical staff.

Medical Director Requirements

MD or DO from an accredited medical school Current, unrestricted state medical license Board certification in a relevant specialty Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards Demonstrated ability to lead interdisciplinary teams
