Healthy Community Health Centers is seeking an experienced and passionate Medical Director to lead and support our provider team. This physician leader will play a pivotal role in shaping clinical strategies, fostering team excellence, and delivering high-quality care to our community.

This role includes both administrative and clinical responsibilities: Full-Time : 20 hours/week clinical care + 20 hours/week administrative leadership Part-Time : 20 hours/week, administrative leadership only This is an ideal opportunity for a board-certified physician in family medicine who is eager to lead a mission-driven team and champion healthcare access in a vibrant and diverse community.

Key Responsibilities Provide direct supervision and mentorship to HCHC's medical provider team Oversee clinical quality and performance improvement initiatives Collaborate with leadership on clinical workflows, compliance, and best practices Deliver patient care consistent with evidence-based medicine (for full-time position) Represent HCHC in medical and community leadership forums Qualifications MD or DO degree with board certification in Family Medicine Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in Virginia (or eligibility) DEA licensure Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Current CPR/BLS certification Must meet all physical and cognitive demands of the role Not sanctioned under Medicare or Medicaid Benefits of Joining HCHC Work-Life Balance : Monday-Friday, daylight hours Generous PTO : 264 hours annually for full-time staff (vacation + sick), prorated for part-time Paid Parental Leave for full-time employees Comprehensive Benefits : Health, dental, vision, short/long-term disability, life insurance Retirement Plan : 4% company match CME Support : Up to 40 hours and $2,500 annually License Reimbursement : DEA and practice license fees covered for clinical providers Loan Repayment Eligible : This role qualifies for the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program
