Medical Director – PACE Program
Location:  Compton, CA
Schedule:  Full-time, on-site Monday–Friday (no weekends)
An innovative, mission-driven healthcare organization is seeking a  Medical Director  to lead a brand-new, state-of-the-art PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) clinic. This role provides a unique opportunity to help build and guide a new center focused on empowering seniors to live with dignity and independence while receiving high-quality, comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct primary and preventative medical care to PACE participants
Oversee day-to-day clinical operations and ensure adherence to quality and regulatory standards
Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate clinical staff including physicians and advanced practice providers
Support a multidisciplinary team delivering coordinated, holistic care
Lead and oversee quality improvement and utilization management initiatives
Serve as a medical consultant on participant grievances, appeals, and care decision-making
Build and maintain collaborative relationships with hospitals, SNFs, long-term care facilities, and community providers
Ensure robust documentation and compliance with all PACE program requirements
Participate in committees and provide thought leadership on best practices and evidence-based care
Qualifications:
MD or DO with active board certification in geriatrics, complex care, palliative care, home-based care, internal medicine, or related fields
Current, unrestricted medical license in California
Current DEA certificate
Five or more years of clinical practice with at least two years serving an elderly or frail population
Previous experience in PACE, SNF, or complex senior care models preferred
Bilingual a plus, though not required
Passion for mission-driven care and improving outcomes for high-risk seniors
