Compensation Our base pay ranges from $280,000 to $310,000 per year, reflecting your experience and expertise. Role Summary We are looking for a passionate and experienced Medical Director to lead our psychiatric initiatives and serve as a key liaison within our health system partnerships. This role uniquely blends direct clinical consultation with strategic leadership, allowing you to define the future of behavioral health integration within primary care on a larger scale. Your success will hinge on your ability to cultivate trusted relationships, implement effective care strategies, and effectively represent our clinical values to our partners. This position entails approximately 28 hours of clinical time weekly and an additional 12 hours of leadership duties aimed at enhancing provider engagement and clinical quality. Key Responsibilities Psychiatric Consultation: Conduct systematic case reviews to offer diagnosis and treatment advice, ensuring documentation in electronic health records. Clinical Leadership: Provide supportive consultation and supervision to clinicians, while mentoring the development of the entire care management team. Quality Assurance: Maintain adherence to care models and facilitate discussions that bolster collaboration among clinical teams, enhancing referral processes. Partnership Development: Build strong relationships with primary care providers and engage in educational efforts to improve referral pathways and care effectiveness. Qualifications MD or DO with an active, unrestricted medical license. Board certification in Psychiatry, with a minimum of 5 years post-residency clinical experience. Proven leadership experience with a capacity to mentor and supervise clinicians. Excellent organizational and communication skills with a strong ability to build rapport. Experience in integrated care models, particularly Collaborative Care. Proficient in evidence-based treatment approaches and familiarity with relevant assessments.
