Overview: Join a leading provider of opioid addiction treatment services dedicated to embodying Hope, Respect, and Caring. We believe in treating addiction as a brain disease, offering medication-assisted treatment and counseling services in a supportive outpatient setting. Location: Aiken, SC Salary: $275,000 and up with full benefits. Key Responsibilities: Conduct admission physicals, annual physicals, and medical histories in accordance with state and federal regulations and best medical practices. Review laboratory results and medical documents from other healthcare providers, managing each patient according to established guidelines. Screen for common medical co-morbidities and evaluate potential medication impacts to ensure safe and effective treatment. Prescribe and adjust dosages of methadone or suboxone based on individual patient needs and history. Order and document necessary medical adjustments, including dose increases, decreases, detoxification, or supervised withdrawal. Ensure all medical orders are reviewed and signed off within 72 hours, maintaining comprehensive documentation in patient charts.
