POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketplace Operations Director will manage a procurement analyst team supporting our clients - US employers and Brokers - using our Marketplace platforms. As a Marketplace Operations Director, your role is to ensure operational efficiency and excellence among pharmacy benefit procurements while also enhancing the industry understanding and impact of the team. This incorporates guiding the team in the assessment of pharmacy benefit offers (custom or from the Truveris marketplace), providing context on how brokers leverage procurement services, and participating at various milestones to observe the performance of the team.
Upskilling the team may involve conducting training sessions on procurement practices, industry trends, contract reviews, clinical program considerations. There may be requests from other departments (e.g., Marketing, Sales) for support around webinars, broker training, or other internal workshops, but the role will primarily focus on the procurement team. Periodically, the Operations Director may be requested to support ad hoc client requests, support client relationships, or observe the performance of analysts and others on the team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage a team of analysts and their workload impacting procurements, market checks, contract reviews, and other support analytics for clients
Review, analyze and interpret results of Truveris's client-specific reports, providing insights into trends
Conduct internal training workshops for procurement analysts and other Truveris employees where necessary.
Manage procurement pharmacy benefit contract terms and act as a partner to marketplace management regarding feedback to PBMs and outside vendors.
Provide clinical guidance during pharmacy procurements for clients through your team.
Provide input and new product ideas to Product Development to enhance ROI and client satisfaction
Provide training, mentorship, and guidance to direct reports
Ad hoc projects as assigned by the SVP of Operations
QUALIFICATIONS
Pharmacist or PBM underwriter with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the industry
Experience evaluating pharmacy benefit contracts and offers
Experience conducting or assisting pharmacy procurements
Experience conducting pharmacy audits, is a plus.
Experience developing. managing, and leading teams
Strong project management and quality assurance skills
Experience managing multiple deliverables under strict time constraints
Ability to prioritize and multitask in a demanding work environment
Experience partnering with cross-functional teams
Experience analyzing PBM and plan drug utilization data
Experience with assessing and recommending PBM clinical programs
Experience using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Excellent interpersonal skills; strong oral and written communication skills
Compensation: USD $120,000 - $170,000 per year.
An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
