POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Marketing Director is a hands-on, strategic leader responsible for building the marketing function at a B2B healthcare SaaS company. This role will own the full marketing stack—from brand positioning and messaging to lead generation and digital execution. The Marketing Director works cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure marketing supports business growth, customer engagement, and product adoption.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Own and execute the company’s marketing strategy, aligned with business goals
Build brand messaging, voice, positioning, and foundational materials
Develop and manage demand generation campaigns, including email, paid search, and content marketing
Create and maintain sales enablement tools like presentations, one-pagers, and case studies
Write and manage web content, blog posts, landing pages, and digital ads
Manage and report on campaign performance using platforms like Google Analytics and HubSpot
Optimize SEO, paid media, and conversion funnels for lead capture
Oversee website performance and improvements
Monitor industry trends and competitor positioning
Build internal alignment across teams by clearly communicating marketing plans and performance
Lay the foundation to scale the marketing function as the company grows, implementing and leveraging AI wherever appropriate
KNOWLEDGE & REQUIREMENTS:
Strong understanding of B2B SaaS marketing, especially in healthcare or health tech
Full-stack marketer: strategic thinker with execution skills in content, brand, and demand generation
Proficient in HubSpot, Google Analytics, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and SEO tools
Excellent copywriting and communication skills
Passion for incorporating AI in all marketing activities
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
Comfortable operating without an existing team or established processes
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 6 years of professional B2B marketing experience, preferably in SaaS
Experience in healthcare or health tech marketing strongly preferred
BS/BA degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or equivalent
