POSITION SUMMARY:


As the Marketing Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing and business development strategies that enhance GOLDLAW's visibility, participating in seminars, fostering community relationships, and driving client engagement. This role requires a strategic thinker with expertise in mass media, digital advertising, and event management.


JOB DUTIES:

Leadership / Strategic Partnership:

  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with businesses, organizations, and influencers to expand the firm’s reach and client base.
  • Optimizing Client Acquisition Channels: Continuously evaluating marketing channels and tactics to maximize qualified lead generation. This includes analyzing data to identify high-performing campaigns and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with partners on co-branded initiatives, events, and marketing campaigns that benefit both parties.
  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with businesses, organizations, and influencers to expand the firm’s reach and client base.
  • Develop and introduce marketing goals to the entire firm and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

Mass Media (TV, Billboards, OTT Streaming):

  • Oversee the firm’s mass media outreach, including press releases, media relations, and public appearances.
  • Manage digital advertising campaigns across various platforms to enhance brand awareness and generate leads.

Business Development:

  • Spearhead business development initiatives to expand GOLDLAW's client base and revenue.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential referral partners, including medical professionals, law firms, legal industry vendors, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the firm’s legal teams to identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling legal services to existing clients Lead business development initiatives to cultivate and maintain client relationships.
  • Identify potential clients and develop strategies to convert prospects into clients

Community and Charity Involvement:

  • Foster relationships with local organizations and charities to enhance community engagement.
  • Develop initiatives that promote the firm’s commitment to social responsibility and community support.

Social Media and Digital Marketing Advertising:

  • Develop and implement social media strategies that engage clients and prospects.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital marketing, traditional advertising, and community outreach.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Marketing & Brand Experience Officer to identify target audiences, refine messaging, and optimize marketing campaigns for maximum impact and ROI.
  • Ensure marketing efforts align with brand guidelines and uphold the GOLDLAW brand.
  • Monitor social media channels and analyze performance metrics to optimize content and engagement.

Events and Sponsorships:

  • Plan and execute seminars, webinars, and networking events that promote the firm’s expertise and services.
  • Identify and manage sponsorship opportunities that align with the firm’s brand and community involvement.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in marketing preferred
  • At least five years’ experience as a law firm marketing director/manager or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Marketers with agency experience encouraged to apply
  • Successful experience in hiring, training and managing a marketing team
  • Strong interpersonal skills in working and communicating with others
  • Skilled at time management and prioritizing workflow to meet deadlines, reduce interruptions and solve problems
  • Analytical, strategic thinker with strong project management skills
  • Provide exceptional client service
  • Knowledge of Florida Bar advertising rules and restrictions (preferred)
  • Ability to attend events outside the office and sometimes after hours
  • Experience using industry-standard marketing technology and software, including:
  • Email marketing automation platforms
  • Video filming, editing and all production aspects, including YouTube Studio
  • Webmaster tools and content management systems (CMS)
  • MOZ or similar SEO tools
  • Google Analytics, Google My Business, Google Ads, Google Search Console
  • Adobe Creative Suite (CS6)
  • Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel and Word
  • Facebook and LinkedIn ad campaign builders and analytics
  • Social publishing platforms (i.e., Canva, Hootsuite, Buffer, Adobe Social)
  • Rentrak StationView Essentials
  • Third-party programmatic demand side platforms (i.e., Centro)

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This job operates in a professional office setting as well as working out in the field with the public at events. This role routinely uses standard office equipment: manual dexterity, physical mobility, and some physical strength/stamina.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to successfully complete most office tasks that require any physicality, which is limited in this position.
