The Opportunity
We're seeking a dynamic Marketing Director to spearhead omni-channel marketing initiatives across our headquarters and franchise network. This senior-level position combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, driving brand awareness, customer acquisition, and franchise growth through integrated marketing campaigns.
High performers will have a direct path to executive leadership, including Senior Director, VP, or CMO opportunities, with influence over national brand strategy and franchise growth.
Location & Work Arrangement
Based: Mission, KS (Kansas City metro)
Flexibility: On-Site role with flexile PTO
Preference: Ability to collaborate in-person periodically to build strong departmental culture

What You'll Do
Strategic Leadership
Vendor and External Agency Management - Strategic Vendor Partnerships: Oversee selection, negotiation, and ongoing management of external vendors and agencies to ensure alignment with business goals, cost efficiency, and performance standards.
Performance & Accountability Management: Establish clear KPIs, service level agreements, and reporting processes with external partners to track performance, optimize ROI, and ensure deliverables are consistently met or exceeded.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Quality Control: Act as the primary liaison between internal teams and external agencies/vendors, ensuring seamless collaboration and brand consistency.
Omni-Channel Strategy Development: Design comprehensive marketing plans spanning digital (PPC, SEO, social, email) and traditional media (TV, print, direct mail) with cohesive brand messaging that drives a measurable return on investment
Campaign Management: Execute national campaigns while partnering with 21+ franchise locations on localized marketing efforts, often consulting with them and providing strategic guidance
Budget Ownership: Manage corporate marketing budget and guide franchisees on optimal local spend allocation
Digital Marketing Excellence
Platform Management: Lead omni-channel digital marketing efforts, demonstrating strong platform acumen across Google’s ad properties, organic content strategies, and social media advertising efforts
Performance Optimization: Continuously test and refine digital tactics to maximize ROI and lead generation
Analytics Leadership: Establish KPIs, track performance metrics, and make data-driven optimization decisions that align with our growth objectives
Franchise Partnership
Local Marketing Support: Collaborate with franchise owners on market-specific strategies and budget planning
Best Practice Sharing: Provide guidance on marketing spend optimization and analytics interpretation
Growth Enablement: Ensure scalable marketing systems for expanding franchise network
Content & Brand Management
Content Strategy: Oversee creation of compelling marketing materials across all channels
Brand Consistency: Maintain unified voice and messaging aligned with our customer service mission
Creative Oversight: Coordinate with external agencies and vendors for specialized campaigns
Team Development
Individual Contributor: Function as hands-on project leader initially
Team Building: Build and mentor high-performing marketing team as company scales
Culture Development: Foster results-driven, collaborative department environment
What You Bring
Required Experience
Leadership Background: 4+ years as Marketing Director or equivalent senior marketing role
Omni-Channel Expertise: Proven success with integrated digital and traditional marketing campaigns
Digital Proficiency: Deep knowledge of Google Ads, Meta/Facebook Ads, SEO, and email marketing
Analytical Skills: Experience with marketing analytics, A/B testing, and performance optimization
Preferred Qualifications
Industry Knowledge: Home services or franchise marketing experience
Moving Industry: Background in residential/commercial moving services (ideal)

Compensation & Growth
Financial Package
Base Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 (based on experience)
Performance Incentives: Aggressive bonus structure for exceeding key metrics
