Job Title: Marketing Director

Reports to: CEO
Position Summary:
The Marketing Director will lead the development, execution, and measurement of integrated marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, market penetration, and customer engagement. This role oversees the marketing department and collaborates with cross-functional leaders including Sales, Product Development, and Operations to align marketing efforts with company goals. This is a high-impact leadership position for a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead the execution of the annual marketing strategy aligned with business objectives and sales targets.
  • Manage and mentor a growing marketing team, including direct supervision of the Marketing Coordinator.
  • Oversee brand positioning and messaging across all platforms, ensuring consistency and alignment with company values and product innovation.
  • Spearhead digital marketing initiatives, including SEO/SEM, paid advertising, email marketing, and social media engagement, to increase reach and ROI.
  • Own the full marketing calendar—planning and executing product launches, promotional campaigns, events, and trade show participation.
  • Work with the Sales Director and product teams to support lead generation, market expansion, and customer acquisition initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and strategic partners to ensure high-quality, cost-effective deliverables.
  • Analyze campaign performance and generate insights through marketing metrics and KPIs; present regular updates and ROI reports to executive leadership.
  • Maintain a competitive edge by continuously monitoring industry trends, customer insights, and competitor activity.
  • (2) Market research experience in the USA and Global industries (Americas & Europe).
  • (3) Bench marking panel, identify opportunities against competitors, price point, etc
  • (1) Lead the strategy plan for PPG, SOWT analysis, Porter matrix, BCG matrix, with an action plan for 3 years. Must be executed in the yearly marketing plan aligned with R&D, and product development. Aligning marketing mix: product, price, place and promotion.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or related field; MBA is a plus.
  • 7+ years of progressive marketing experience, including 3+ years in a leadership or director role—preferably in a B2B manufacturing or automotive tools industry.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, content strategy, branding, and demand generation.
  • Proven experience managing budgets, projects, and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot, Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite, CRM platforms, Canvas).
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
Preferred Attributes: (not required but a plus)
  • Experience in the automotive aftermarket or tools manufacturing industry.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus due to our international footprint.
  • Ability to translate technical products into compelling customer-focused messaging.
  • Innovative mindset with strong business acumen and problem-solving skills.
