A Day in the Office Looks Like This:
The primary role of the strategically minded Marketing Director is to lead the firm’s luxury brand evolution and team operations and support high-level business development efforts. This individual
will elevate the firm’s visibility in the luxury residential space, manage a growing internal team, and represent SHM’s voice across all platforms and client touchpoints. The Marketing Director will unify storytelling, public relations, design assets, and client engagement with a distinct focus on the high-net-worth market. This role requires creativity, operational rigor, and an intuitive grasp of the SHM ethos. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, high emotional intelligence, and marketing savvy to a fast-paced, high-touch studio environment.
Strategic Marketing & Brand Leadership
Lead multi-year marketing strategies aligned with the firm’s vision and growth goals
Steward the SHM brand across all channels, ensuring consistent visual and editorial identity
Collaborate with firm leadership/ownership on strategic decisions, firm positioning, and goal alignment
Manage and track marketing budgets, invoices, and forecasts
Public Relations
Act as the point of contact for all PR efforts and collaborate with PR firm to amplify firm stories
Define PR goals with PR firm and align them with business development and brand strategy
Oversee internal meetings to brainstorm story angles, pitch topics, and press releases
Coordinate interviews, approvals, and prepare materials for leadership press opportunities
Monitor upcoming projects, firm news, events, and thought leadership opportunities
Digital & Social Media
Lead the firm’s social media strategy and execution
Maintain social platforms, monitor engagement, and curate high-quality visual and written content that emphasizes heritage, craftsmanship, and the emotional connection clients have with our projects through compelling narratives
Design assets such as reels and graphics using Canva and Adobe Suite
Content & Collateral
Direct the creation of all firm collateral – proposals, RFPs/RFQs, presentations, books, and newsletters – in a way that aligns with the firm’s luxury brand
Oversee the creative direction of office newsletters and external business development communications
Manage all storytelling, copywriting, and creative development for SHM’s public image
Photography & Visual Media
Oversee image strategy, photo shoots, scheduling, and vendor coordination
Manage photo rights, usage, and archive systems
Coordinate timelapse video production and creative visuals for marketing assets
Client Experience & Business Development
Design and carefully manage high-touch client engagement experiences from first contact through project milestones to align with a personalized concierge service
Partner with business development and design teams to target and convert high-net-worth prospects
Organize exclusive events, partnerships, and collaborations to create experiences that enhance brand perception and desirability.
Swag & Brand Merchandise
Lead selection, design, and procurement of branded merchandise
Oversee implementation of swag distribution to employees and clients and creation of custom client journey gift boxes
Team Leadership & Supervision
Directly manage and mentor Marketing Coordinators
Set priorities, provide strategic direction, and ensure accountability for task execution

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
We work in a collaborative, indoor office environment at the top of the historic Meadows Building at Energy Square. This is a great location with quick access to US-75 and the Lovers Lane DART Station practically on site.
Normal work hours are 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM Central Monday through Friday with one hour for lunch, but we are flexible if our business and customers’ needs remain priority #1. Occasionally, there may be a need to work outside of normal work hours or weekends to meet business needs. Some local travel may be required.
Physical Demands
This is a largely sedentary role and requires the ability to sit for long periods of time, operate a keyboard, and communicate clearly and effectively on the phone, in-person, and via written communication. However, there may be occasional specific situations that require lifting, bending, stooping, twisting, kneeling, and/or reaching.

Requirements: REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, or related field
5-10 years of experience, preferably in luxury architecture and design industries
Experience leading teams and managing vendors, budgets, and large-scale campaigns
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign required), Canva, and Microsoft Office 365
Expertise in Mailchimp, social media platforms, and project management tools (Monday.com)
Strong portfolio demonstrating marketing leadership and brand storytelling in a high-end, luxury context
