OmniRide, a public transportation agency located in Prince William County, Virginia, is seeking a professional to fill the position of Marketing Director . The Marketing Director performs difficult professional work directing, creating, and executing the comprehensive marketing program, managing and developing public and community outreach, advertising and media plans, production of brochures and other materials, and the website and social media presence, assisting with budget development, overseeing budget administration, and related work as apparent or assigned. This position is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing program that aligns with the Executive Director’s vision and positions the agency prominently in the marketplace. The Marketing Director will oversee advertising, media relations, public outreach, and digital engagement, including website and social media strategy, while managing a high-performing team and supervising daily departmental operations. Key responsibilities include coordinating public events, producing targeted communications and collateral materials, and serving as the primary media liaison for the Executive Director. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in strategic planning, public relations, digital media, and stakeholder engagement, along with strong leadership, budgeting, and project management skills. This is a high-impact role for a creative and driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, journalism, advertising, or a related field, along with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in marketing, media relations, public relations, digital and print production, social media platforms, and personnel management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Starting salary range is $115,326 - $155,691 depending on experience, plus attractive benefits. This position is Hybrid office/telework after an initial training period.
