Overview Marketing Director - Direct Mail, CRM, Organic at TRANZACT. We are seeking a highly driven, hands-on Marketing Director to oversee direct mail, lifecycle marketing, and organic channel strategy across TRANZACT’s lines of business. You will own and execute direct marketing acquisition and nurture campaigns for major insurance brands in the U.S. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will scale performance marketing through data-driven decisions, process improvements, and new tactics. This is a high-impact role for a collaborative manager with deep expertise in driving multiple channels and delivering measurable growth. Responsibilities Channel Strategy and Execution: Own strategy and performance of Direct Mail, Email/SMS, and Organic Search (SEO) lead generation channels across lines of business, including budgeting, forecasting, and tactical planning. Campaign Management: Drive and manage day-to-day performance of Direct Mail, Remarketing, and Organic campaigns; proactively address performance issues and optimize. Team Management: Lead and oversee a direct team of 8 managers and specialists, guiding prioritization and professional development. Vendor and Agency Management: Manage third-party agency and vendor relationships, serving as primary decision-maker on budget and performance. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Business, Creative, Operations, Data Science, and Member Experience teams to align goals and leverage learnings across channels. Channel and Industry Expertise: Serve as subject matter expert for channel vision, monitor industry trends and competitive insights to inform strategy. Process and Operational Improvement: Develop and refine SOPs to gain efficiencies in process. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, Marketing, or related field Minimum 7+ years of progressive D2C marketing experience, with at least 3 years leading small teams Hands-on experience managing performance marketing campaigns and budgets Proven track record of achieving performance goals Strong communication and analytical decision-making Collaborative experience across internal/external teams Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Suite and BI tools (e.g., Power BI) and project management platforms Hybrid in-office work schedule from Ft. Lee, NJ or Raleigh, NC office on Tuesdays and Thursdays Preferred Qualifications Direct Mail/Print campaign experience Experience in consumer health, financial services, insurance, or other regulated sectors Compensation And Benefits The base salary range is $150,000+ USD per year, dependent on experience.
