We are seeking a Market Director, Supply Chain Operations for our growing DC market which includes George Washington University Hospital, Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center, Ambulatory Care Centers, FEDs, Urgent Care Centers, and other services.
The Market Director, Supply Chain Operations will have overall responsibility and accountability for optimizing critical supply chain operational processes and systems, including strategic planning, implementation and monitoring of supply chain operations, for the DC Market.
Oversees George Washington University Hospital’s Supply Chain facility operations. Manages inventory, builds relationships with vendor representatives, and analyzes the workflow performance data.
Aligns and implements the corporate Supply Chain strategy across areas of oversight, focusing on enhancing quality, service delivery, and cost performance.
Identifies, implements, and maintains process improvement to support strategic initiatives.
Directs facilities in the market to achieve key performance goals through the implementation of standard operating procedures, measurement tools and data standards derived from demonstrated best practices, reducing operational expenditures of both supply and equipment. Regularly updates processes and procedures to align with company and regulatory requirements.
Coordinates supply chain operational activities across the market including inventory optimizations, savings initiatives, and team development.
Ensures a cost-effective operation by assisting with appropriate budget preparation, monitoring, and controlling of associated department expenses. Completes financial reports for Market supply and equipment expenditure and utilization.
Assists with evaluating past performance data to properly forecast needs. Hires and trains departmental supervisors and managers.

Qualifications
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution required. Master’s degree from an accredited educational institution preferred.
Experience:
+ years of experience in the field of acute care operations including surgical services, Supply chain, logistics and Pharmacy operations preferred.
+ years of multi-facility supply chain senior management experience.
Skills:
