As a trusted name in the insurance industry, we are looking to expand our team with a dynamic, self-motivated Sales Representative to join our team. This position is W2 with base and commission.

The Farmers Insurance Protege Program is a mentorship-based training initiative, designed to help aspiring individuals become Farmers Insurance agency owners by providing hands-on experience, comprehensive training, and mentorship. Participants learn sales, marketing, and customer service skills, while gaining real-world experience. The ultimate goal is a transition to agency ownership after successful completion of the 9-12 month program.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly and annual targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs to recommend appropriate insurance products.
  • Provide clients with information on policies, premiums, and coverage options, ensuring they make informed decisions.
  • Identify new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and prospecting activities.
  • Follow up with leads and prospective clients to close sales and meet established goals.
  • Manage customer service needs, answer questions, and resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, products, and market conditions to best serve clients.
  • Maintain and update accurate client records in the system.

Requirements
  • Prior insurance sales experience preferred (insurance sales experience is a plus, but not required).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Self-driven with a goal-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently.
  • Positive attitude, team player, and strong work ethic.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to learn new products and services quickly.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Must be willing to obtain a state insurance license (if not already licensed).
