About the Role

The Company is seeking a Managing Director to provide strategic leadership and drive business growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the company's strategic plan, identifying new market opportunities, and ensuring alignment with the parent company's objectives. This role also involves defining and implementing sales and marketing strategies, maintaining key customer relationships, and driving product innovation based on market trends and consumer needs. The Managing Director will lead a high-performing management team, foster a strong company culture, and ensure compliance with safety and sustainability initiatives.

Key responsibilities for the Managing Director include overseeing operational excellence, production management, and financial performance. The role requires the candidate to manage P&L, budgeting, and cost efficiency, as well as to drive operational cost reductions and secure funding and strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leadership and organizational development, with a focus on succession planning and long-term stability. They must also have a proven track record in ensuring safety, driving sustainability initiatives, and managing risks related to food safety, environmental impact, and supply chain disruptions. Operational excellence, including continuous improvement, automation, and lean manufacturing principles, is essential, as is the ability to optimize the supply chain, procurement, and logistics for efficiency and sustainability.
