Partnering and contributing on short- and long-term strategies for the holding and portfolio companies (i.e., geographical expansion, acquisitions, spin-offs, capital investment, incubator projects, organizational development) Functioning as a consultant and advisory Board member to portfolio companies (i.e., pricing, margin management, leadership development, KPIs, capital expenditures, process improvements, working capital improvements, demand planning, business development, infrastructure build out) Be liaison with external counsel on domestic and international customer contracts, labor agreements, and other legal matters Be the VP-Finance for the holding company on financial reporting, KPIs, and treasury matters REQUIREMENTS: BS required (Accounting, Finance, or Engineering preferred). CPA or MBA a must. Seek 10+ years of business and financial leadership experience. Must be able to communicate with engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing. Ideal candidate might come from investment banking, private equity, or multi-plant manufacturer targeting commercial markets. xsgimln Role can be hybrid or virtual with primary travel in Connecticut and New York.
