About the Role

The Company is seeking a Managing Director for Tax Digital Transformation and Innovation Product Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the product lifecycle of proprietary technology solutions that support the tax practice and client service delivery. This role requires a deep understanding of both tax and technology product development, with a proven track record in launching and managing products that enhance professional services. The Managing Director will define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with the tax practice's strategic needs. They will also oversee the product portfolio, market analysis, and competitive positioning, and ensure that the products meet the agreed-upon business outcomes and support the overall business strategy.

Candidates for this position should have a Bachelor's degree, with a focus on accounting, finance, information systems, business administration, or computer science. A Master's degree in accounting, taxation, or a J.D. is preferred. A minimum of 12 years' experience in tax and/or technology product management is required, with a strong preference for those with a background in corporate, partnership, and individual taxation. The role demands a leader with strong management, mentoring, communication, and collaboration skills, who can make data-driven decisions and manage multiple stakeholders in a matrix organization. Experience with agile product development, SDLC, and a relevant certification such as CPA, JD, EA, PMP, or Certified Product Manager is also preferred.
