The business offers deposit solutions, loans, treasury services, and other banking products to manufacturers, distributors, and various service industries. The Managing Director Relationship Manager - Middle Market Banking is responsible for acquiring and managing Middle Market Banking relationships. This role involves developing and maintaining an active prospect list, client outreach plan, and quality referral sources. The Director is the primary contact for providing products and services tailored to the financial needs of clients. This position collaborates with corporate partners to build and manage full banking relationships and may act as a resource for less experienced associates or as a team lead. Responsibilities Sales - Originate and cultivate middle market banking relationships, positioning the Bank as the primary/lead bank. Deliver a full suite of commercial banking products and services including loans, deposits, treasury management, interest rate products, capital markets, wealth management, and other fee-generating businesses. Serve as the primary relationship manager, identifying client needs, working with internal verticals and product owners to structure customized solutions, and ensuring high-quality service. Stay informed about market, pricing, and industry trends to act as a trusted advisor to clients. Client Service - Collaborate across the Bank to deliver commercial and consumer products and services. Leverage digital and technological platforms to provide exceptional client service. Coordinate targeted marketing efforts, including client events and centers of influence. Maintain an in-depth understanding of clients' creditworthiness and bank credit policies to represent them effectively in internal discussions. Risk Management - Ensure compliance with all regulatory and bank policies. Qualifications Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree with 10 years of experience in Middle Market Banking & Credit Knowledge. Or, High School Diploma or GED with 14 years of experience in Middle Market Banking & Credit Knowledge. Preferred: MBA, Business Administration, Finance, Economics. 12 years of Middle Market Banking and/or Corporate Banking experience. License or Certification: Valid driver's license required, as the role involves frequent driving to offices and clients. A company car is not provided. Required Skills: Structured sales process application. Financial guidance and expertise provision. Sales planning and forecasting. Financial analysis and credit underwriting.
