About the Role

The Company is seeking a Tax Managing Director with a strong background in tax compliance, research, consulting, and specialization. The successful candidate will be responsible for advising clients on the tax implications of their business activities, developing strategies to minimize tax burdens, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This role requires a deep understanding of various tax specialties, including international tax, SALT, estate planning, and R&D tax benefits. The Tax Managing Director will also be involved in the direct supervision of tax professionals, and must be adept at managing and developing a team, as well as maintaining client relationships.

Applicants for the Tax Managing Director position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree in accountancy or taxation preferred. A CPA, Attorney, or IRS Enrolled Agent certification is required. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years' of relevant tax experience, with a strong preference for those with industry expertise in one or more tax specialties. Superior communication, analytical, and decision-making skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively in a team and manage a team of tax professionals. The role also demands an individual with executive presence, capable of acting as the primary client contact for complex tax issues.
