About the Role

The Company is seeking a Managing Director, Regional Operations (MDRO) to play a pivotal role in the execution of its strategic plan. The MDRO will be responsible for supporting the operational success of multiple regions, driving strategic initiatives, and managing special projects with a focus on enhancing operational excellence and collaboration. This executive will serve as a key strategic thought partner, operating at a tactical, strategic, and operational level, and will be a force multiplier for the Regional Operations team, National Community Engagement, and the National Impact and Service department. The role requires a seasoned leader with a proven track record in large-scale project management and organizational strategy, as well as exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and change management skills.

Candidates for the MDRO position should have a minimum of 8 years' managerial and leadership experience in an education or nonprofit setting, with at least 4 years in management and organizational leadership roles. A Bachelor's degree is required, and a Master's degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will be a culturally competent and self-reflective leader, with a deep understanding of the effects of societal issues and a commitment to fostering a dynamic and collaborative work environment. Strong communication, teamwork, and influencing skills are essential, as is the ability to navigate across functional lines and bring diverse teams to consensus. The MDRO will also be responsible for data generation and analysis, regional processes development, and internal communications, and must demonstrate a commitment to the company's mission and core values.
