In this key role, you will lead a dedicated team of 12 fundraisers, focusing on generating over $50M annually from corporations and major institutional foundations. Your contributions will directly impact our organization’s revenue goals, which exceed $250M each year. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 15 years of experience in philanthropy, with at least 6-8 years in a leadership capacity, showcasing a successful track record in securing substantial grants. A Bachelor’s degree is required, while a Master’s degree is preferred, alongside a minimum of 10 years of senior management experience. Key responsibilities include: Collaborating with organization leadership to solicit significant grants. Expanding the prospect pipeline and identifying new funding opportunities. Creating innovative funding strategies, particularly targeted at overseas markets. Ensuring the team meets or surpasses fundraising objectives. We are looking for a results-oriented leader with strong management skills and a passion for building and sustaining meaningful relationships. A commitment to our mission and values is essential. Candidates should be detail-oriented, possess exceptional organizational and strategic thinking abilities, and be open to traveling up to 20% of the time. Experience with Salesforce is a plus, as is a background in environmental NGOs and international fundraising.
