About the Role

The Company is seeking a Managing Director, Head of Investment Strategy to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of 7-8 investment and actuarial professionals and will play a key role in the development, execution, and monitoring of investment and portfolio strategies. This executive officer position requires a leader with proven abilities, strong executive presence, and over 15 years of professional experience in the insurance or asset-intensive financial services industry. The role involves partnering with various teams to develop annual investment programs, long-term strategic asset allocation targets, and investment strategies that support the company's financial and growth objectives.

Key responsibilities for the Managing Director, Head of Investment Strategy include leading the team in enhancing the financial performance of the existing investment portfolio, developing strategies for new business growth, and supporting capital management and reinsurance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of insurance assets and liabilities, advanced degrees in finance, mathematics, or actuarial science, and industry credentials such as CFA or FSA.
