About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Director, Chief Operating Officer to serve as a key leader in the execution and administration of its line of business. The successful candidate will be responsible for the front-to-back diligence, implementation, and onboarding processes for new partners, as well as the addition of new products, services, or features for existing partners. This role involves leading the financial forecasting and projections, documenting the flow of funds, and maintaining the related control framework. The MD, COO will also oversee the day-to-day operations of the line of business, with a primary focus on financial outcomes, planning, budgeting, and strategic initiatives. Collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders is essential, and the role requires a proactive approach to pursuing automation and cost optimization opportunities.
Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with at least 15 years' experience in a financial institution or financial services, and a minimum of 10 years in corporate treasury, financial management, or risk management. The role demands a leader with a strong background in financial outcomes, budgeting, and a proven track record in managing financial and operational processes. Key attributes include the ability to understand complex systems, a balance of technical knowledge and business acumen, and excellent communication and presentation skills. Experience in fintech partnerships, banking-as-a-service, or similar digital relationships is preferred, as is a working knowledge of consumer regulations and IT and cyber security risks. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, proactive individual with a high level of collaboration and problem-solving skills.
