Position Information Job Title Managing Director - Berks and Montgomery Job Description The S. Dale High Center at Elizabethtown College is seeking a Managing Director – Berks and Montgomery region staff member. The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Senior Managing Director of Membership Development in planning, organizing, and coordinating projects and activities associated with the expansion of the High Center into new markets and developing a franchise model. This position also assists other CFB staff in the same. Resident of the Berks/Montgomery area preferred. This position is remote with the occasional required meeting on campus at Etown College. Job Duties Develop relationships in new market areas with current and prospective members and corporate partners, for the purpose of, assisting the Centers’ growth in new market. This role requires attending various industry presentations and networking events to build relationships with prospective members.
Serve as the initial point of contact in new market areas for members, prospective members, corporate partners, and the public.
Work with Senior Managing Director to oversee the administration of, and the communication with, peer groups in new markets; assist the Senior Managing Director with placement and follow up of new peer group members; responsibilities include using Salesforce to manage group participation and attendance. Peer group coordinator will assist with the administration of these tasks.
Attend all High Center events with the purpose of outreach and recruitment of new members. Contact new market prospects and members prior to events; to personally encourage their attendance.
Work with the Senior Managing Director to conduct Best Practice and Exit Planning surveys with members.
Assist in preparing materials for new market outreach and new market corporate partner meetings. Present High Center updates as necessary.
Participate in the Center’s communications and marketing initiatives. Assist in the coordination of any materials for CFB publications in the new markets, e.g. brochures, marketing materials, manuals, educational materials for peer groups, etc.
Assist the Program & Member Development Manager on the execution of the annual High Center Business Forum event; work closely with directors to contact and secure sponsors for the event.
Assist the Program & Member Development Manager on content ideas for new markets quarterly newsletter.
Assist the Executive Director of the Center, the Directors of Membership Services and volunteers in any required duties
Support the work of the Executive Director with members of the college faculty and staff.
Conduct background research as necessary to complete assigned projects.
Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree plus ten years of experience in leadership and customer relations and proficient with Microsoft®Office Suite.
This position requires a valid driver’s license for business travel purposes (individual must have a US driver’s license for at least three years; a motor vehicle record check will be run and the incumbent must pass the College’s MVR rating system).
