We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Director to oversee the overall maintenance, housekeeping, and safety operations of a senior living community. This role is responsible for ensuring the property is well-maintained, safe, and comfortable for residents, visitors, and staff.
Responsibilities include:
The Maintenance Director will be leading and supervising maintenance and housekeeping teams.
Coordinating preventative maintenance programs and responding promptly to repair requests.
Overseeing electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural, and grounds upkeep.
Ensuring compliance with safety standards, OSHA requirements, and local/state regulations.
Managing vendor relationships, contracts, and department budgets.
Being on-call for emergency situations as needed.
Qualifications for Maintenance Director:
High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or certifications preferred.
2+ years of supervisory experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or related field.
Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general building systems.
Ability to lead a team, manage multiple priorities, and problem-solve effectively.
