River Hills Health and Rehab - POSITION SUMMARY

Ensures the building(s), equipment, and facility grounds are maintained in accordance with state, federal, and company policies

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs minor to major repairs and supervises the day-to-day repair, improvement, and preventative maintenance of the building(s), equipment, lawn, and grounds

Arranges for and manages outside repairs, maintenance, and construction services according to facility procedures

Maintains required records, manages budgets and supplies

Conducts in-service training sessions about the building, safety and disaster planning, as needed

Supervises maintenance personnel (if any) and schedules adequate coverage, as appropriate. Assigns duties and evaluates work performance, as necessary

Must be on call at all times unless prior arrangements have been made with the executive director

Manages contract compliance as pertains to maintenance services

Performs routine checks on major systems such as auxiliary generator, fire alarms, door alarms, nurse call system, and department equipment

Conducts periodic inspections of the building

Maintain emergency generator according to facility policy and regulations

Performs other related duties as required or requested
