Essential job functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions:Trains and oversees maintenance staff on proper safety procedures, etc. to ensure quality standards and service Maintains equipment and parts inventories, and keeps inventory records Records type and costs of maintenance or repair work Performs routine preventive maintenance and/or repairs to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate Performs a variety of routine physical labor tasks Sets up meeting areas for meetings and events Assists with safety training as necessary Reports any issues or problems that may arise to the Administrator Complies with state, federal, and all other applicable health care and safety standards Assists families and other visitors as needed Attends in-services and other required meetings Performs other duties and tasks as assigned

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; minimum of 3 years of previous experience in a maintenance position; or an equivalent combination of education and experience Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred
