Position Overview:
We are seeking an exceptional leader to take on the role of Director of Food and Beverage, overseeing the operations of our luxury 5-star property’s Food & Beverage and Rooms divisions. This pivotal position is responsible for driving the strategic vision and operational excellence of all F&B outlets, including fine dining, in-room dining, banquets, lounges, and bars.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering unparalleled guest experiences, a deep understanding of luxury service standards, and a proven ability to achieve and maintain FORBES 5-Star ratings. This role offers the opportunity to shape the culinary and service landscape of a world-class property, while driving revenue growth and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities: Operational Leadership: Oversee all aspects of the Food & Beverage division, ensuring the highest levels of quality, service, and guest satisfaction. Maintain and exceed FORBES 5-Star standards across all outlets.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance the guest experience, elevate the property’s reputation, and drive profitability. Create unique dining concepts that align with the hotel’s luxury brand.
Financial Oversight: Manage the division’s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and profit and loss (P&L) accountability. Implement cost-control measures while maintaining exceptional quality and service standards.
Team Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of managers, chefs, and service staff. Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management.
Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards. Uphold impeccable standards for food presentation, beverage quality, and service delivery.
Vendor Relations: Manage purchasing, inventory, and supplier relationships to ensure access to premium products and efficient operations.
Guest Engagement: Act as a key representative of the hotel’s F&B program, engaging with guests to gather feedback and address concerns promptly and professionally.
Qualifications & Experience: 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience in Food & Beverage management within a luxury 5-star hotel or resort.
Proven success in achieving and maintaining FORBES 5-Star service and facility standards.
Extensive experience managing multi-outlet, high-volume F&B operations, including fine dining, banquets, and lounges.
A bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Strong financial acumen with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
Passion for culinary excellence and deep understanding of food, wine, and beverage trends.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the demands of a luxury property.
