JOB SUMMARY: Your Flight Plan!

The Lifestyle Director is responsible for providing programs and events suitable and engaging for all residents.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES : Ready to Fly!

Design: Survey the community and create ongoing activities and programs tailored to the community's wide range of ages and needs. Promote and drive interest in the programs using a variety of methods such as newsletter, website, social media, email blast and word of mouth. Secure vendors and staff. Execute while working with onsite management, maintenance techs, and other providers. Debrief with all personnel after the event to improve and grow future events. Operate with a constant mindset of serving the residents with excellence. Express clear and concise written and verbal communication with district staff, residents, Vesta management, staff, and vendors. Maintain order and manage special events budgets, coordinate vendors, and staff. Lead staff and vendors to a common goal. This position will manage the lifestyle department/associates REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS : The Wingspan Needed! High school diploma required; college degree is preferred. A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar field requiring similar event, customer service skills, and other responsibilities. Competent in Word, Excel, and Outlook Knowledge of Social Media Outlets Current Driver's License Strong community engagement Occasional travel may be required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Our Nest is your Nest! Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. This job operates in a clerical, office setting, clubhouse, and/or outdoor setting. Ability to lift up to 25lbs
