Job Description
As theLife Enrichment Director, you will lead the planning and delivery of a dynamic, engaging calendar of social, recreational, and wellness-focused events that promote a vibrant community life for our residents. Your creativity, compassion, and leadership will directly enhance residents’ quality of life—especially in our Assisted Living and Memory Care neighborhoods.
Assess resident interests, talents, and needs through feedback, new resident orientations, council meetings, and family collaboration.
Design and execute daily and weekly programs that support residents’ social, physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being.
Coordinate inclusive events that foster a strong sense of community and connection.
Collaborate with marketing to develop engaging programs that welcome prospective residents.
Oversee community transportation logistics to support event participation and outings.
Qualifications
College degree or certificate in a related field (recreation therapy, gerontology, etc.).
Minimum of 4 years of experience in activity programming.
At least 1 year of leadership experience; senior living preferred.
Prior experience in Assisted Living and Memory Care settings.
A passion for working with older adults.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Warm, engaging, and energetic communication style.
Natural ability to build relationships with residents and families.
Additional information
Competitive salary: $59,000 – $62,000 DOE
