Position Overview
The Licensed Clinical Director is responsible for the management and quality assurance of all clinical services provided by Right Path Behavioral Health Services, including the training and supervision of all clinical and psychosocial rehabilitation staff assigned team members. The Licensed Clinical Director is responsible for supporting the compliance of the fiscal, ethical and legal standards upheld by Right Path Behavioral Health Services and Medicaid.
Essential Functions
1. Responsible for the oversight, supervision and quality assurance of all mental health and clinical services including direct therapy.
2. Provides direct supervision of treatment services staff, and acts as liaison between treatment services staff and other departments within the facility. Provides a minimum (1) hour of monthly supervision either individually or in a group setting.
3. Review, lock and sign progress notes weekly.
4. Complete weekly billing and payroll including reviewing timecards and invoices.
5. Must review all Bio-psychosocial Assessments and Treatments Plans.
6. Staff client cases during weekly treatment team meetings.
7. Monitors all documentation including treatment plans, treatment plan reviews, biopsychosocial assessments, required demographic reports, and discharge documentation.
8. Complete, monitor and track Medicaid authorizations
9. Ensure adherence to the required HIPAA and documentation requirements as identified by county, state and federal regulatory agencies.
10. Ensure clinical services are compliant with county, state and federal regulatory agencies.
11. Assess for Baker Acts.
12. Provide billable hours as needed.
13. Conduct Brief Behavioral Health Status Exams.
14. Interviews/recommends departmental staff for hire, trains, evaluates, disciplines, and recommends for termination, monitors work performance and completes performance evaluations, in addition, conduct new hire orientation.
15. Conduct required in house trainings as needed.
16. Conduct weekly team meetings.
17. Coordinate Doctor Day (assist as needed).
18. Serve as an enthusiastic leader who is an expert resource on therapeutic practices, policies and operational procedures.
19. Serve as co-chair on Quality Assurance Utilization Review committee.
20. Assist in coordination and supervision with college interns.
21. Regular and reliable attendance.
22. Shadow providers as needed.
23. Performs other duties as assigned.
