**Position Summary
** CVS Health is seeking a Lead Director of Public Affairs Campaigns to join our team in Washington, DC.
This position will play a critical role in shaping and executing the company’s public affairs strategy by leading advocacy campaign efforts, including developing, deploying, and managing field team programs across the country.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in campaign management and mobilization, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholder and external consultants.
**Key Responsibilities:
** Support the design and implementation of comprehensive public affairs initiatives aligned with key enterprise priorities, including strategic planning, setting trackable and credible goals, tactical execution, content development, and reporting.
* In coordination with Public Affairs leadership, develop localized campaign strategy to support public affairs initiatives.
* Provide strategic direction for and management of teams engaging in third-party outreach and mobilization, including stakeholder identification and engagement, message development and optimization, and content creation and deployment.
* Direct the activities of external consultants on engagement initiatives, ensuring alignment with CVS Health’s public affairs strategy.
* Liason with trade associations campaigns to represent our strategy and vision, and coordinate activity.
* Work closely with internal and external colleagues to manage budgets, contracts, and reporting related to public affairs initiatives.
* Develops reports and presentations on public affairs and campaign activities for senior management.
**Required Qualifications
*** At least 10 years of experience working in public affairs, public policy communications, political campaigns, public relations, public policy, state executives/legislatures, or other related experience.
**Preferred Qualifications
*** Expertise in health care public policy issues, advocacy communications, political campaigns, or the regulatory environment preferred.
* Demonstrated experience managing public affairs campaigns inclusive of paid, earned, owned and social media.
* Ability to manage multiple geographic campaigns concurrently.
**Education
** Bachelor's Degree or higher required.
**Pay Range
**The typical pay range for this role is:$144,200.00
- $288,400.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
