Trident Technical College Business Technology Department is seeking a results-driven IT Workforce Training Program Director to lead continuing education programs in Computer Information Systems and Network Systems Management . Reporting to the Dean, the Program Director will oversee daily workforce training operations, ensuring alignment with industry needs and institutional goals.

Key responsibilities include: Designing, developing, and updating curricula to reflect current industry standards and emerging technologies. Scheduling and coordinating courses with faculty and staff. Recruiting, training, and supervising adjunct faculty. Maintaining office hours and serving as a primary contact for inquiries. Assisting with budget planning, course scheduling, and advisory meetings. Teaching courses. This position requires a master’s degree in business administration or a related field, with 18 graduate semester hours in management, business, accounting, or information technology, and at least two years of related work or teaching experience. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills, along with a commitment to workforce development and student success. They must adapt to changes in technology and troubleshoot hardware/software issues. Teaching both credit and non-credit courses, schedules may vary, including evenings and weekends, at various locations, utilizing diverse teaching methods.
