We are seeking an experienced IT Director with a strong background in Microsoft technologies and project management to lead our IT department. This role is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and support of technology strategies that align with our business goals. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, with a proven track record of managing enterprise-level Microsoft environments and driving cross-functional IT projects to successful completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and support of enterprise IT systems, with an emphasis on Microsoft technologies (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, Windows Server, SharePoint, Teams, and SCCM/Intune).
- Drive IT strategy and roadmap development in alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee the execution of IT projects from initiation to completion using best practices in project management (Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall).
- Collaborate with business units to identify technology needs, provide solutions, and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Manage the IT team, vendors, and service providers to ensure quality, security, scalability, and performance of systems.
- Establish and enforce IT policies, standards, and procedures, including data security, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
- Manage IT budgets, resource planning, procurement, and contract negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and industry standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, including team management.
- 7+ years of experience working with Microsoft infrastructure and cloud technologies.
- Strong project management experience, with demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects across teams.
- Experience implementing and supporting enterprise-level Microsoft environments, including hybrid or full-cloud Azure deployments.
- Deep knowledge of IT governance, cybersecurity best practices, and change management.
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, PMP, or PRINCE2 strongly preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience managing enterprise migrations to Microsoft 365 or Azure.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
